Director Jack Turner wanted to capture the sport of speedway in a way that felt raw and powerful.

A visual collision of metal and dirt. Shot across two different 16mm film stocks and combined with hand-crafted animation, this short film was about grit.

Sound is a massive part of the sporting experience, with several roaring engines hurtling around a small circuit in as little as 60 seconds.
